ACS Athletics Releases Innovative Customer-Driven Athletics Forms Builder Solution

July 19th, 2012 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

ACS Athletics, the leading provider of web and mobile athletic management solutions for athletics departments recently released ACS Forms Builder, the next operations efficiency game-changer for their customer community.  ACS Forms Builder is an upgrade to the industry leading forms and workflow capabilities offered within ACS’s flagship product InControl™. The new tool offers athletics department staff easy to use capabilities to build, customize, collect and manage online student-athlete forms.

“The new forms building capability is another example of how the ACS Customer Community drives our company’s innovation and leadership position in athletics,” said Rayan Rutledge, ACS Vice-President of Operations. “ACS was the first vendor to offer forms and workflow automation tools specifically for athletics, so being the first to empower athletics departments with easy to use forms building capabilities was the next step in delivering the highest level of service possible to our customers.”

Since 2006, ACS has helped customers create over 1800 types of custom forms and collect over 1,000,000 forms electronically.  With this new tool, the ACS customer community has the control and flexibility to create student-athlete forms without any dependence on the ACS Athletics Client Services team. This allows compliance staffs to respond immediately to the constantly evolving landscape of NCAA, institutional and conference forms.

“Since implementing the ACS Athletics InControl system in September 2011, the University of Maryland Athletics Department has gotten amazing results in several areas, especially with the online student-athlete forms,” said Dan Trump, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance, University of Maryland.  ”By giving us control to dynamically build and release new forms on our own, and easily change existing ones in real-time, ACS is giving our staff the freedom to do even more with InControl which has clearly become a game-changer for our department.”

“The ACS Forms Builder is incredibly powerful and very easy to use,” said Kevin Price, Senior Associate Athletics Director, University of California, Riverside. “Our staff created and tested half a dozen online student-athlete forms in about an hour.  ACS is giving us the control and freedom we need to get the job done.”

“As part of our continual efforts to give our customers more control over their system, the custom forms builder tool will be the first in a series of enhancements released to help our customers further streamline operations,“ said Philip Engle, ACS President and CEO.  “It has been a pleasure working with our customers over the years and creating customized forms based on their needs, however, the technology has advanced to a point where this easy-to-use tool can now be put directly in the hands of our customers, and we’re excited to be the first company in this industry to provide this capability.”

ACS has a decade long history of being first to market with cutting-edge technology solutions.  For more information, visit www.acsathletics.com or contact ACS at sales@acsathletics.com.

The Hatters will implement technology solutions in the areas of recruiting, compliance monitoring and roster management in an effort to improve staff performance, reduce risk, and provide coaches with cutting-edge recruiting tools.

“With the ongoing growth of the Stetson Athletics program, we recognized the need to be more efficient in managing the recruiting process,” Stetson University Director of Athletics Jeff Altier said. “But, streamlining and simplifying the recruiting process is just part of what our partnership with ACS will allow our staff to do. We will be able to better manage and track student-athletes throughout their time at Stetson in order to provide the best possible experience for each student.

“From recruitment, to academics, health care and publicity, our partnership with ACS will enable our staff to better serve the needs of every student-athlete through their years of competition and on to the ultimate goal, graduation.”

With ACS Athletics InControlTM software, Stetson will automate many of the paper-driven processes that previously existed within the department and streamline the management of recruiting and student-athlete information. Further, ACS solutions will allow Stetson coaches to focus more on building relationships in the recruiting process and enhancing the experience of current student-athletes.

“Its exciting to be working with a growing athletics program such as Stetson University,” said Phillip Engle, ACS President and CEO. “Jeff and his staff are committed to operating a competitive athletics program with integrity, and our team is excited about helping the Stetson staff and coaches succeed at a very high level for years to come.”
